Hello! I am Chrisoula, the "soul" of the hotel.

I will be glad to see you in Galaxidi, a beautiful ancient town on the Gulf of Corinth near to the archaeological site of Delphi. I speak Greek, English, Italian & French. My hotel is located in a quiet street in the center of Galaxidi. It is a Captain's house from the 19th century with an idyllic courtyard. Over the years, the hotel has earned an excellent international reputation. I am used to welcoming visitors from around the world! The hotel offers single, double and triple rooms, a large suite, as well as rooms with a kitchenette for 4-5 persons.

In the flower filled courtyard of the hotel, we offer you a rich and unforgettable breakfast which I prepare with locally sourced produce.

Cherry jam from Chrisoula's kitchen

 

1,200 grams cherry, cleaned and pitted

750 grams sugar

3 tablespoons lemon juice

Zest of half a lemon

 

Instructions

Wash and pit the cherries. Place them in a pot with the zest and lemon juice over a medium heat. Mix with a wooden spoon to prevent from sticking. After 5 minutes of boiling, add the sugar. Let the jam continue to boil over low heat, stirring regularly. Attach a candy thermometer to the pot. Once the thermometer reaches 104 degrees centigrade, the jam is ready. If you prefer you can blend the mixture with a hand blender.

Place it into sterilized jars and keep in a cool place or in the refrigerator.
